A Centrepiece Built From Layers

Each tier overlaps the one below and slightly shades it, which is what produces the gradient: brightest at the open base, softening as your eye travels up. The cloth is a natural off white that reads warm against plaster and oak, and the tiers give the pendant a real presence unlit, which matters when a dining room spends more hours in daylight than under the lamp. This is the largest of the fabric shades and it is meant to be the first thing you notice in the room. Where to Use It
