Delivery
Do you offer free UK delivery?
Yes — we offer free standard delivery on every order to UK mainland addresses. There is no minimum spend and no hidden charges at checkout.
How long does delivery take?
Standard delivery takes 7–12 business days from your order confirmation. You will receive a dispatch notification with tracking details as soon as your order leaves our warehouse.
Can I track my order?
Yes. Once your order has been dispatched, we'll send you an email with your tracking number and a link to follow your delivery in real time.
Do you deliver outside the UK?
We currently deliver to UK mainland addresses only. We are working to expand our delivery options — if you'd like to be notified when international shipping becomes available, please contact us at contact@thelightedition.com.
Returns & Refunds
What is your returns policy?
We offer free returns within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in their original condition, and returned in the original packaging. Once we receive and inspect your return, your refund will be issued within 14 business days.
How do I start a return?
Simply email us at contact@thelightedition.com with your order number and the reason for your return. Our team will respond within one business day with a free prepaid return label and instructions.
When will I receive my refund?
Refunds are processed within 14 business days of us receiving and inspecting your return. The funds will be returned to your original payment method. You'll receive an email confirmation once your refund has been issued.
My item arrived damaged — what should I do?
We're sorry to hear that. Please email contact@thelightedition.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the damage. We will arrange a replacement or full refund as quickly as possible.
Products
Do your lights come with bulbs included?
Bulbs are not included with our light fittings. Each product page clearly lists the compatible bulb type and fitting (e.g. E27, E14, GU10) so you can source the right bulb. We recommend LED bulbs for energy efficiency and longevity.
Do I need an electrician to install the lights?
Ceiling lights, pendant lights, and wall lights require hardwiring and must be installed by a qualified electrician. Floor lamps and table lamps are plug-in and require no installation. We always recommend consulting a professional for any electrical work.
Do you offer a warranty on your products?
Yes — all products come with a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects. If you experience an issue within this period, please contact us and we will arrange a replacement or refund.
Payment
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), as well as PayPal and Apple Pay. All transactions are processed securely through our encrypted checkout.
Are your prices inclusive of VAT?
Yes — all prices displayed on our website are inclusive of UK VAT at the current rate. The final price shown at checkout is the total you pay, with no surprises.
Orders
Can I cancel or change my order?
If you need to cancel or amend your order, please contact us at contact@thelightedition.com as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate changes before dispatch. Once an order has been shipped, it can no longer be modified, but you are welcome to return it under our 30-day returns policy.
An item I want is out of stock — when will it be back?
We aim to keep all products in stock at all times. If an item is temporarily unavailable, please email us at contact@thelightedition.com and we'll let you know the expected restock date or suggest a similar alternative.
