Description
A tapered shade of clear acrylic cut with a fine diamond pattern, on a slim brass stem and a weighted round brass base. It scatters light the way cut glass does, runs on a battery, and dims from a touch on the base.
The Cut-Glass One, on Brass
This is the most jewelled of the three shades: a gently tapered cone, 14cm across, cut all over with small facets that break the light into a dense scatter of sparks on the tablecloth and the wall behind. Brass warms it, and pairs it with timber, linen, terracotta and dark green. It is the version for a restaurant-style dining table, a dressing table or a bedside where a little glamour is wanted. Tap the base once to move between cool, neutral and warm light; hold it to dim from full brightness down to a fifth. Charge it over USB-C and carry it wherever the evening goes.
