Description
A turned metal candlestick on a round backplate, crowned with a small tapered fabric shade. It is the most classic of British wall lights, at home in a Georgian bedroom as much as a modern hallway.
The Classic British Wall Light
Candlestick wall lights with small fabric shades are a fixture of British interiors, and they remain among the best sellers year after year. The tapered shade sends a soft light up and down the wall and hides the bulb, while the turned stem adds a fine, traditional detail. In gold it warms a period room; in black it gives a crisper, more graphic look. Fit a pair either side of a bed, a mirror or a fireplace.
